Terms of Service

Last updated: July 31, 2026

Welcome to 3toed Software. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. Services Provided

3toed Software LLC provides web-based software tools for the sign industry. The tools run in your web browser. There are no user accounts, and no login is required to use them.

Open beta: The tools are free to use through the end of 2026. Paid access is planned for 2027. These terms will be updated to describe how payment works before any charge is ever made, and nothing here obligates you to pay anything today.

2. Software Provided "As-Is"

All software and services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

3. User Data and File Responsibility

You are solely responsible for your data and files. This includes:

Your files stay on your device. Project files are saved to your own computer when you choose to save them. We do not have access to them, we do not store copies, and we cannot recover them for you. Work is not saved automatically, so save often.

Publishing is optional. Mapping Slayer can publish a project to our servers so it can be shared with installers in the field. This only happens when you press the publish button. If you never publish, none of your project data reaches us.

3toed Software is not responsible for any loss of data, files, or work product, regardless of the cause.

4. Verify Output Before Production

Our tools produce drafts, not certified deliverables. You are responsible for checking the output before anything is fabricated or installed.

This applies especially to braille translation, ADA character sizing and spacing, sign schedules, and message content. Software can be wrong. For legal, permanent, or ADA-compliance signage, have output reviewed by a qualified person — for braille, a certified transcriber — before it goes to production.

You are responsible for compliance with the ADA and any other codes or standards that apply to your project. We do not provide professional, legal, or code-compliance advice, and using these tools does not make anyone compliant with anything.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 3toed Software LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the services shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 USD.

6. Cost and Payment

The tools are free through the end of 2026. There is no trial period, no subscription, no payment method on file, and nothing to cancel.

Paid access is planned to begin in 2027. When that happens, these terms will be updated first to describe exactly what is being sold and on what conditions. We will not charge you for anything you have not actively chosen to buy.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

8. Privacy

We do not sell your personal information, and we never will. What we do collect and why is described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual Property

Our Software: 3toed Software LLC retains all rights, title, and interest in our software, including all code, designs, and trademarks. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the tools. Any license declaration found in a file served from this site is a development artifact and does not grant you rights to our software.

Your Content: You retain full ownership of any content, files, or data you create using our services. We claim no rights to your work product.

10. Availability

There are no accounts, so there is nothing to cancel or delete. You can stop using the tools at any time, and your files remain on your own computer.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any tool at any time, and we do not guarantee any level of uptime. If you have published a project to our servers, you may remove it from within the app. We may remove content or block access where use violates these terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our services shall be resolved in the courts of Utah.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
